Gothic Glitter Grinch Challenge

In one of our primary art groups on Facebook, Steve McDonalds Arts and Crafts, our distain for glitter is quite well known. In crafting glitter is generally expected and used in the creation of many projects. For most of the history we can remember we absolutely despise using glitter. Glitters ability to get everywhere and nowhere, the way it performs in liquids and just because it’s glitter are only a few of the reasons we rarely if ever choose to use it.

Well one day in October 2022 the owner of the Facebook group issues us a challenge. We were asked to create a gothic scene and use as much glitter as we could stand when creating it. After a few ideas and thoughts, what you see below is where it landed.

We enjoyed this process both from the support of the other group members and the challenge to work with materials we would elect to stay away from otherwise. We hope you enjoy and keep on making
