New Japanese mobile phones detect motion

In this combo photo made by three photos released Monday, April 23, 2007 by Japan's top mobile carrier NTT DoCoMo, the FOMA 904i series, a new line of mobile phones from Tokyo-based NTT DoCoMo, from left, D904i, P904i  and SH904, are shown. The new  mobile phone models come with sensors that let users play action games like the Nintendo Wii console, or detect motion with built-in cameras. The D904i by Mitsubishi Electric Corp., left, contains a tiny motion sensor that detects shaking and tilting, according to company spokesman Nobuyuki Hatanaka. The P904i by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., center, and the SH904i by Sharp Corp., right, use their built-in cameras to detect motion. The new phones are expected to hit Japanese stores in May. Some of the latest mobile phones in Japan come with motion sensors that let users detect motion or play action games like those on the Nintendo Wii console.
